Criteria, Rights, and Responsibilities
Sober Living 757 serves the community of Coastal Virginia by providing a sober living environment for people transitioning from addiction to sobriety.

Our houses follow the Social Model of Recovery, which believes that "recovery involves a human need for positive, productive, engaging social interactions" (Ron Luce, "The Social Model of Recovery"). By following this model through peer support, shared governance, and active engagement in recovery, we hope to help you thrive in your recovery process and beyond.

At the same time, recovery houses rely on respect and accountability of each resident to maintain a clean, safe, healthy, and comfortable environment. With that in mind, residents must follow certain standards of conduct that contribute to everyone's success and well-being.

If you meet the criteria listed below, follow the house rules, and are willing to go to any length to achieve sobriety, you are welcome to join our recovery residences! If you are not ready to do that yet, out of respect for other residents, please come back here when you are absolutely ready.
